C.A. SIMMONS). Naming is engraved on the reverse of the suspension bar on the CFD, the other awards are un-named as issued. The first eight awards are mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, while the CFD is independent and without pinback. Lightly soiled original ribbons, extremely fine.

He was subsequently awarded the bronze MID Oak Leaf to wear on the ribbon of the War Medal 1939-1945.
