An envelope, addressed to Arthur F. Bell containing the signatures of the Duke Edward VIII and Duchess Wallis of Windsor, and accompanied by a greeting card. The envelope is constructed of folded paper, and is addressed to Arthur Bell of 36 Aberdeen Drive, Newton 61, Massachusetts, with a French postage stamp affixed to the top right corner of the envelope, the reverse is marked “Duke + Duchess Windsor” along with a return mail label reading “4, Route du Champ d'Entraînement Paris 16ieme France”, measuring 164 mm (w) x 93 mm (l). The accompanying calling card is signed “Edward - Duke of Windsor” and “Wallis Windsor '' with an additional blank calling card glued to the signed card to give additional structural integrity, measuring 127 mm (w) x 70 mm (l). The accompanying greeting card reads “ With the Compliments of the Private Secretary to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor'', measuring 140 mm (w) x 89 mm (l). In overall better than very fine condition.
