Spain, Spanish State. A Falange Youth Knife with Belt

A well-preserved Falange Youth knife, measuring 26 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 14 cm-long, nickel-plated, magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and lower edge. The blade exhibits a faint etched slogan "Arriba España" - The blade sits securely within a nickel-plated magnetic metal hilt with a hooked quillon and pommel. Two pieces of pebbled black bakelite compose the handle grip, and are secured in place with dual magnetic metal rivets. Inset into the obverse of the handle is an enameled Falange insignia (minor enamel loss). It is accompanied by its original black anodized scabbard. Riveted to the reverse of the shaft is a black leather strap stitched into a loop for belt suspension, retaining a functional magnetic metal snap button to firmly hold the knife in place during storage. With wearers original belt, measuring 89 cm in length and 4 cm in width, with original owners name and number written on reverse, fine overall.
