In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
(Ehrenkreuz für die Feldzüge 1814 und 1815). Instituted 1814 by Heinrich XIII of Reuss-Greiz, Heinrich XLII of Reuss-Schleiz, Heinrich LIV of Reuss-Lobenstein, and Heinrich LI of Reuss-Ebersdorf. (1814-1815 issue). Constructed of toned bronze, on loop for suspension from a period but incorrect ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central wreathed monogram of Prince Heinrich, with each arm bearing the Roman numeral of the individual founding princes who share a common forename, the reverse bearing a wreathed date of “1814”, unmarked, measuring 32.10 mm (w) x 36.97 mm (h), weighing 8.1 grams, an early metal tack pierces the ribbon, which also demonstrating some deterioration, a scarce award in extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Reuss Principalities raised approximately 900 soldiers for the campaign against Napoleonic France, with all participants in the conflict receiving this award. The first presentation took place on 14 August 1814 in Frankfurt-am-Main; only the ribbons were distributed, with the physical awards produced and distributed later.
