(Wehrmacht Abzeichen). A mixed lot of badges, including:
1. An Infantry Assault Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, unmarked, measuring 47.04 mm (w) x 62.30 mm (h), weighing 17.9 grams, missing all of its attachment hardware, in fair condition.
2. A General Assault Badge, constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, surrounding a central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, unmarked, measuring 42.50 mm (w) x 53.28 mm (h), weighing 12.6 grams, missing all of its attachment hardware, in fair condition.
3. A Coastal Artillery War Badge, constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central coastal artillery gun with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse maker marked “SCHWERIN, BERLIN”, measuring 41.86 mm (w) x 54.41 mm (h), weighing 22.5 grams, missing all of its attachment hardware and demonstrating attempted re-finishing, in fair condition.
4. A 1934 Labor Day badge, constructed of bronze, the reverse marked “SCHWÄB. GMÜND”, measuring 35 mm in diameter, missing its pinback, in fair condition.
