(Insignien und Zubehör). A mixed lot of uniform insignia and accessories, including:
1 A Heer NCO’s breast eagle, consisting of a field-grey rayon backer affixed to a black wool base, bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 110 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in uniform-removed and extremely fine condition.
2. A Heer Officer’s summer tunic breast eagle, constructed of a silvered alloy, the obverse consisting of an elongated Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a crimped hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), minor loss of finish is evident and the reverse of the wreath is missing its stabilizer, in very fine condition.
3. A Luftwaffe Officer’s visor cap cockade, constructed of a dark blue wool base, the obverse bearing a central aluminum wire cockade with a red wool centrepiece, situated within a silver aluminum wire oak leaf wreath, flanked on each side by wings of identical construction, unmarked, measuring 135 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in uniform-removed and extremely fine condition.
4. A German Red Cross (DRK) member’s belt buckle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a central raised DRK-style German national eagle clutching a Geneva Cross and overlaid by a mobile swastika, situated within a semi-oval laurel leaf wreath, the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, maker marked with the logo of Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid, measuring 65 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
