Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot Of Insignia

(Insignien). A mixed lot of five insignia, including:

1. An NSDAP member’s armband, constructed of a red dyed cotton base, the exterior bearing a central white disc overlaid by a black mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 21 cm (w) x 10 cm (h) when folded on a flat surface, in extremely fine condition.

2. A Heer Gebirgsjäger Enlisted ranks sleeve insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss, situated within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 66 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

3. A Kriegsmarine tropical EM/NCO’s breast eagle, constructed of light brown rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered golden-brown Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 130 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

4. A Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s visor cap insignia, constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of a central tri-colour cockade situated within an oak leaf wreath, flanked on each side by stylized wings, the reverse retaining both sets of butterfly-style attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 140 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

5. A Luftwaffe Flight Personnel sleeve badge, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey insignia, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), demonstrating a small patch of mothing to the lower edge, in extremely fine condition.
