(Abzeichen und Insignien). A mixed lot of badges and insignia, including:
1. A Heer Panzer Troops Totenkopf device, constructed of magnetic metal, the reverse retaining all three attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 24 mm (w) x 23 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
2. A Wehrmacht visor cap cockade, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 22 mm in diameter, in better than very fine condition.
3. An SS uniform button, constructed of a pebbled aluminum casing with a magnetic metal core, the reverse with a lug, marked with double Sig runes, a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo, maker code “M5/72/15” for Paul Cramer & Co., Lüdenscheid, measuring 20 mm in diameter, in near mint condition.
4. A Bahnschutz visor cap eagle, constructed of silvered feinzink, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 60 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), demonstrating loss of finish and oxidation, in very fine condition.
5. A Landzoll visor cap wreath, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining all three attachment prongs (one chipped), unmarked, measuring 60 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
6. A Freiwilliger Arbeitsdienst badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 15 mm (w) x 22 mm (h), demonstrating some fine cracking and loss of finish to the enamels and base metal, respectively, in better than very fine condition.
7. A National Socialist Alumni Association of German Students (NS-Altherrenbund) membership badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse marked with an RZM logo and maker code “M1/63” for Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, measuring 23 mm in diameter, demonstrating minor flecking and loss of finish to the enamels and base metal, respectively, in near extremely fine condition.
8. A patriotic badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “F.R” for an unidentified manufacturer, measuring 23 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
