In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
(Abzeichen und Insignien). A mixed lot of badges and insignia, including:
1. A Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a clip hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.09 mm (w) x 43.47 mm (h), weighing 6.5 grams, demonstrating minor loss of finish to high-contact points, in better than very fine condition.
2. A German Red Cross (DRK) Schwesternschaft member’s badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse bearing an inscription of “BILLROTH WIEN” and an identity number of “135”, measuring 44 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), demonstrating some flecking to the enamels with deliberate erasure of the swastika, in very fine condition.
3. A Sturmabteilung/Political cap eagle, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 37 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
4. A Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps (National Socialist Motor Corps/NSKK) cap eagle, 1934 pattern, the obverse consisting of a German national eagle with its wings outstretched, topped by a banner bearing initials “NSKK”, the reverse retaining one of two attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/52” for Deschler & Sohn, Munich, measuring 70 mm (w) x 36 mm (h), demonstrating loss of finish in addition to the missing prong, in very fine condition.
5. A 1936 Vienna Reich Colonial Day commemorative badge, constructed of silvered bronze, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
