1. Two War Merit Medals, each constructed of bronze, on loops for suspension from period original ribbons, the obverse of each bearing a raised Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and central wreathed mobile swastikas, the reverse of each bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), both unmarked, measuring 32.11 mm in diameter, and weighing 12.6 grams, in overall near mint condition.
2. An Anschluss Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised date of “13. MÄRZ 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.19 mm in diameter, weighing 12.5 grams, demonstrating total loss of silver finish, in very fine condition.
3. A West Wall Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a double-sided oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the top and bottom by ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised pillbox, topped by a crossed sword and shovel, culminating in a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR ARBEIT ZUM SCHUTZ DEUTSCHLAND” (“FOR WORK IN THE PROTECTION OF GERMANY”), unmarked, measuring 33.53 mm (w) x 46.71 mm (h), weighing 19.3 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
4. A Civil Service 40-Year Long Service Award, constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from a period replacement ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black enameled swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 41.44 mm (w) x 45.88 mm (h), weighing 22.8 grams, in extremely fine condition.
5. An Honour Cross of the German Mother, Gold Grade, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross with its arms joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse bearing an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, measuring 35.20 mm (w) x 45.17 mm (h), weighing 13.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), demonstrating minor chipping and flecking to the enamels, in better than very fine condition.
