Germany, Third Reich. A Lot of Six Pairs of Collar Tabs & Shoulder Boards

A fine grouping of six Third Reich German pairs of collar tabs and shoulder boards, consisting of:

1. A matching set of Luftwaffe Leutnant collar tabs, constructed of a buckram core, with a yellow wool upper, with a single gull and oak wreath branches on the obverse in high quality flat and rolled silver aluminum bullion embroidery, with thin twisted silver aluminum piping around the edges of the tabs, measuring 42 mm (w) x 57 mm (l), lightly soiled on the reverse but in very fine

2. A matching set of Luftwaffe Hauptmann collar tabs, constructed of a buckram core, with a yellow wool upper, with three gulls positioned vertically on-top of each-other and oak wreath branches on the obverse in high quality flat and rolled silver aluminum bullion embroidery, with thin twisted silver aluminum piping around the edges of the tabs, measuring 46 mm (w) x 57 mm (l), with light oxidation on the embroidery from age and storage, in near very fine condition.

3. A matching set of Wehrmacht Artillery Officer’s collar tabs, constructed of a buckram core, with a black wool upper and a pair of litzen constructed of silver aluminum bullion embroidery, each with a central red braid, measuring 38 mm (w) x 65 mm (l), in overall extremely fine condition. 

4. A matching set of Artillery Lieutenant sew-on style shoulder boards, constructed of cardstock core, with a red wool on the upper and lower side, with a button hole for attachment to the uniform, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping in a U-shape, with a slit at one end for the addition of a button, measuring 33 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), an uniform removed pair, in overall very fine condition. 

5. A matching set of Wehrmacht Heer Truppensonderdienst Administrative collar tabs, constructed of a buckram core, with a black wool upper and a pair of litzen constructed of silver aluminum bullion embroidery, each with a central light blue braid, measuring 42 mm (w) x 70 mm (l), a worn pair with wear to the obverse and reverse of both tabs, one tab has a cut on the litzen exposing the cardstock template underneath, in better than fine condition. 

6. A matching set of Wehrmacht Heer Truppensonderdienst Administrative Oberleutnant sew-on style shoulder boards, constructed of cardstock core, with light blue wool on the upper and lower side, with a button hole for attachment to the uniform, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping in a U-shape, along with a gilded magnetic metal rank pips and an Administrative Official’s cypher on each board, measuring 35 mm (w) x 108 mm (l), an uniform removed pair, in better than fine condition.

7. A matching set of Luftwaffe Hauptingenieur (engineer) collar tabs, constructed of cardstock core, with a bright pink wool on the upper and lower side, with a four-bladed propeller embroidered onto the obverse with two oak branches tied together in the middle directly below, with thin twisted silver aluminum piping around the edges of the tabs, measuring 45 mm (w) x 60 mm (l), a worn pair in near very fine condition. 

8. A matching set of Luftwaffe Hauptingenieur (engineer) sew-on style shoulder boards, constructed of cardstock core, with bright pink wool on the upper and lower side, with a button hole for attachment to the uniform, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping in a U-shape, along with two gilded aluminum rank pips, measuring 35 mm (w) x 118 mm (l), an uniform removed pair, in near very fine condition.
