A grouping of Third Reich German Service Awards, consisting of:
1. (Ordensschnalle). A medal bar with two awards, consisting of: 1. An Honour Cross of the Wolrd War 1914/1918 (Ehrenkreuz des Weltkrieges 1914/1918). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on a fixed loop for suspension, consisting of a Cross Pattée, inscribed with the dates “1914” and “1918” within an oak wreath, the reverse plain, unmarked, measuring 36.9 mm (w) x 37.3 mm (l). 2. A Westwall Medal (Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen), constructed of a bronzed zink alloy, on a fixed loop for suspension, he obverse with a crossed shovel and sword in the centre, and a concrete pillbox/bunker directly below, as well as with the German national eagle above, all within an oak leaf wreath; the reverse inscribed “Für Arbeit zum schutze Deutschlands” (For labour for the protection of Germany) within an oak wreath; measuring 33.2 mm (w) x 40.5 mm (l). The medal bar with a zink core, period original award ribbons mounted on the obverse, with a dark blue wool backer and a horizontal pinback, measuring 70 mm (w) x 55 mm (l), in overall near very fine condition.
2. (Kriegsverdienstkreuz II Klasse). A War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronze with a bronzen finish, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from its period original shortened ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 47.9 mm (w) x 48.3 mm (l), weighing 19.23 grams, the ribbon soiled but the award in overall near extremely fine condition with light verdigris.
3. (25 Jahre Trudienstabzeichen). A Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Award, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black enameled swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “Für Treue Dienste” (For Faithful Service) in capital letters, unmarked, measuring 40.8 mm (w) x 40.8 mm (l), weighing 21.05 grams, in extremely fine condition.
