Germany, Third Reich. A 1939 AH 50th Birthday Commemorative Medal in Silver, with Case

(AH Erinnerungsmedaille in Silber mit Etui). Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing profile of AH, the reverse bearing an inscription of “VOR 50 JAHREN AM 20. APRIL 1889 WURDE UNSER FÜHRER AH DER SCHÖPFER DES GROSSDEUTSCHEN REICHES GEBOREN” (“50 YEARS AGO ON APRIL 20, 1889, OUR LEADER AH, THE CREATOR OF THE GREAT GERMAN REICH, WAS BORN”), topped by a coat of arms of Branau am Inn (the Führer’s hometown) and a mobile swastika, the obverse engraver marked “KRISCHKER” for Franz Paul Krischker, otherwise unmarked but produced by the Prussian Mint with a silver content of 835, measuring 58 mm in diameter, weighing 88.0 grams, accompanied by its original presentation case, of two-piece white card stock construction, the interior with a fitted blue doeskin medal bed, unmarked, measuring 85 mm (w) x 85 mm (l) x 15 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
