Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle clutching an SA-Gruppe Hochland insignia, flanked by a date of “22.-23. FEBR. 1941” and situated above a dedication of “DER FÜHRER DER SA-GRUPPE HOCHLAND” (“THE LEADER OF SA-GRUPPE HOCHLAND”), circumscribed by an inscription of “SA-GRUPPE HOCHLAND / KRIEGSMEISTERSCHAFTEN GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN” (“SA-GRUPPE HOCHLAND / WAR CHAMPIONSHIPS GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN”, the reverse bearing an engraved inscription of “FÜR MITARBEIT U. ZUR ERINNERUNG” (“FOR PARTICIPATION AND IN COMMEMORATION”), unmarked, measuring 73 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a pressed card stock frame with a faux dark blue leather exterior liner, the interior featuring a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a fitted grey velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 105 mm (w) x 105 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
