(Luftwaffe Brustadler). A mixed lot of Luftwaffe Officer ranks summer uniform breast eagles, including:

1. A first pattern eagle, constructed of silvered tomback, the obverse consisting of a droptail-style Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a block hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 87 mm (w) x 56 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish to the obverse, an early and high-quality example in extremely fine condition.

2. A second pattern eagle, constructed of cupal, the obverse consisting of a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a block hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 85 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish to high-contact points throughout the base metal, in near extremely fine condition.

3. A late-war second pattern eagle, constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a crimped hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, 85 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
