A rare personalized birthday greeting from AH, transmitted via Reichspost telegram, featuring a brief message from the Führer to Admiral Otto Schniewind (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 20 April 1940), dated 14 December 1941 and issued to Schniewind in the field, measuring 21 cm (w) x 15 cm (h), demonstrating minor creasing, a superb example of correspondence from the highest echelons of the Third Reich to a noted commander in extremely fine condition; accompanied by three period reproduced photographs showing Schniewind and AH on board a Kriegsmarine vessel, the reverse of two bearing handwritten captions from Schniewind, all measuring approximately 115 mm (w) x 80 mm (h), an interesting accompaniment in extremely fine condition.
