A 1914 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, the suspension loop maker marked “KO” for a widely-encountered but unidentified manufacturer speculated to be Klein, Oberstein, measuring 43.37 mm (w) x 47.32 mm (h), weighing 17.1 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
2. An Oldenburg Friedrich August Cross, II Class, constructed of blackened magnetic iron, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with its arms joined through the quadrants by a circular laurel wreath, the obverse bearing a central monogram of Grand Duke Friedrich August, topped by a crown and situated above a date of “1914”, unmarked, measuring 39.33 mm (w) x 44.60 mm (h), weighing 22.1 grams, demonstrating some surface oxidation and with a replacement suspension ring, in very fine condition.
3. A Saxe-Meiningen Medal for Merit in War, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 39.46 mm in diameter, weighing 24.7 grams, demonstrating moderate loss of finish, in very fine condition.
4. A War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.17 mm in diameter, weighing 13.0 grams, in near mint condition.
5. A Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Award, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a black enameled swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 42.13 mm (w) x 46.70 mm (h), weighing 20.5 grams, demonstrating minor loss of finish throughout, in better than very fine condition.
