In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Heer Fotoalbum). A Heer soldier’s private wartime photo album, constructed of a heavy card stock binding with a textured faux leather exterior liner, the spine perforated with four holes reinforced with metal grommets with a drawstring which maintains the album’s structural integrity. The cover bearing a raised and silvered Heer Stahlhelm and inscription of “MEINE DIENSTZEIT” (“MY SERVICE TIME”), the interior content consisting of 24 black card stock pages separated by wax paper dividers to protect the images, the former consisting of 109 black-and-white photos of various sizes, opening with scenes of uniformed Heer soldiers on duty in camp and in the field, with an unpublished image of AH riding in an open-top car, followed by tourist images and further scenes of Heer soldiers in camp and at leisure, transitioning into scenes of Wehrmacht personnel on the Western Front during the opening campaigns in France and the Lower Countries, including images of field graves of soldiers of Infanterie-Regiment 38 (at the time advancing adjacent to the sea coast of the aforementioned), with images of Wehrmacht vehicles and equipment navigating what are likely canals and waterways in the Netherlands, including battlefield images of destroyed vehicles and infrastructure including bridge, concluding in northern France, unmarked, measuring 32 cm (w) x 23 cm (h), some photos have loosened, an interesting primary account of the early stages of the Second World War in extremely fine condition.
