Romania, Kingdom. A Lot of Two Awards & Decorations

An Order of the Romanian Crown, Type I, Officer’s Cross, a Maltese cross in bronze gilt with red and white enamels, designs in each quadrant, obverse center presenting a crown on red enamels surrounded by the inscription PRIN NOI INSINE 14. MARTIE 1881, the reverse medallion presents the date 10.MAUI encircled by the dates 1866 1877 1881, measures 40.7 mm (w) x 41.1 mm (h), worn on a replacement blue and silver ribbon with large rosette, unmarked, enamels bearing only minor flaws, in extremely fine condition. 

A Commemorative Medal of the Crusade Against Communism, in bronze, the obverse bearing the inscription ROMANIA RECUNOSCARTOARE (Grateful Romania), the reverse presenting a hand holding a sword encircled by the inscription 1941 CRUCIADA IMPOTRIVA COMUNISMULUI (Crusade Against Communism), worn on original ribbon, measures 32.15 mm (w) x 39.4 mm (h- inclusive of integral ring), light wear, remains in very fine condition.
