A pair of Polish state decorations, including:
1. A Siberian Exiles Cross, constructed of gilded and silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Geneva Cross with gilt crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central red enameled shield overlaid by a raised Polish national eagle surrounded by a chain, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “ZESŁANCOM SYBIRU” (“TO THE EXILES OF SIBERIA”), unmarked, measuring 40.46 mm (w) x 46.49 mm (h), weighing 22.7 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing the faint outline of a Polish national eagle, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and red velvet medal bed, unmarked, measuring 65 mm (w) x 120 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
2. A Peasants Battalions Cross, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of an Anchor Cross, the obverse with green enameled arms bearing gilt inscriptions and dates “1940-1945”, overlaid by a central shield in Polish red and white national colours, in turn defaced by a gilt Polish national eagle, the reverse with pebbled arms, bearing a central raised inscription of “ŻYWIA I BRONIA” (“FOOD AND WEAPONS”), unmarked, measuring 41.15 mm (w) x 42.91 mm (h), weighing 12.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a silvered Polish national eagle, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and white felt medal bed, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 124 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), the exterior of the lid demonstrating some soiling, in overall extremely fine condition.
