Monaco, Principality. A Medal of Labour, II Class with Case

 Instituted December 6, 1924. A circular bronze medal, the obverse centre bears the left facing head portrait of Prince Louis II circumscribed with “LOVIS II PRINCE DE MONACO 17 JANVIER 1923” (LOUIS II PRINCE OF MONACO 17 JANUARY 1923), the reverse bears a laurel and oak open ended wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, unnamed, circumscribed with “PRINCIPAVTE DE MONACO HONNEVR TRAVAIL” (PRINCIPALITY OF MONACO HONOUR WORK), measuring 30.5 mm (w) x 42.9 mm (h), laurel wreath integral loop , on a white ribbon with thin red stripes with dual prongs, light wear, very fine. 

Contained in a blue leatherette case denoting II Class on the lid, silk and blue velvet interior, measures 60 mm (w) x 105 mm (l) x 25 mm (d), light scuffing to corners on the exterior, and staining/ripping to the interior lid, remains in near very fine condition.
