(Croix de service pour les membres de l'Armée, de la Gendarmerie et de la Police). Instituted in 1850. Type I (1850-1882). In silver, measuring 29.3 mm (w) x 48.7 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, moderate contact marks and surface wear, original ribbon, very fine.
