1. A Lippe War Merit Cross, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original combatant’s ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed Lippe rose, topped by a monogram of Prince Leopold IV and situated above a date of “1914”, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR AUSZEICHNUNG IM KRIEGE” (“FOR EXCELLENCE IN WAR”), unmarked, measuring 41.09 mm (w) x 44.78 mm (h), weighing 18.6 grams, in better than very fine condition.
2. A Saxon Friedrich August Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a wreathed monogram of King Friedrich August III, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FRIEDRICH AUGUST MEDAILLE”, unmarked, measuring 28.54 mm in diameter, weighing 14.1 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
3. An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Combatants, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a single mount with a horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 36.87 mm (w) x 41.71 mm (h), weighing 19.1 grams (inclusive of mount), in extremely fine condition.
