Germany, NSDAP. An Undershirt and Tie for Political Leaders

(NSDAP Unterhemd und Krawette für Politische Leiter). A well-preserved NSDAP undershirt for Political Leaders, constructed of a brown cotton/rayon blended cloth. It features a detachable collar, fastening in place with two of three original metal clips, with a vertical slash extending from the neck line through the chest, itself closing with three bakelite buttons on the right side meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the left. Vertical slashes set into each cuff are flanked by an array of reinforced buttonholes. Unmarked, the shirt measures approximately 46 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 68 cm, and an overall length of 96 cm (when folded on a flat surface. It is accompanied by a matching tie, constructed of dark brown cotton  and measuring 126 cm in total length. The shirt demonstrates the loss of one collar clip, but the set remains in an overall extremely fine condition.
