A lot of five HJ Marksmanship And Championship badges, Post May 1945 manufacture - c. 1970 issue, consisting of:
1. A gold grade HJ marksmanship badge for snipers, constructed of gilded white metal, the obverse in black enamels with round gilded inlays to form a “bullseye”, with a HJ diamond in white, black, and pebbled red enamels superimposed on the obverse, with crossed rifles directly beneath, all surrounded by a ring of golden oak leaves, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 25.8 mm in diameter, in near mint condition.
2. An HJ marksmanship badge, constructed of silvered white metal, the obverse in black enamels with round silver inlays to form a “bullseye”, with a HJ diamond in white, black, and pebbled red enamels superimposed on the obverse, with crossed rifles directly beneath, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 20.8 mm in diameter, in near mint condition.
3. An HJ Championship Badge in silver, constructed of silvered white metal, the obverse with a partial oak wreath inscribed “Reichssieger”, dated 1942, with an HJ diamond in white, black, and pebbled red enamels superimposed on the obverse, the reverse with a vertical pinback, measuring 26.5 mm (w) x 29.8 mm (l), in near mint condition.
4. An HJ Championship Badge in bronze, constructed of bronzed white metal, the obverse with a partial oak wreath inscribed “Reichssieger”, dated 1942, with an HJ diamond in white, black, and pebbled red enamels superimposed on the obverse, the reverse with a vertical pinback, measuring 26.5 mm (w) x 29.8 mm (l), in near mint condition.
5. A 1931 NSDAP Gau Parteitag Wien badge, constructed of bronze finished white metal, with a vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 41.3 mm (w) x 49.5 mm (l), in near mint condition.
Footnote: Rudolf Souval was a predominant manufacturer of medals, awards, and badges during the Second World War. Following the end of the war in Europe in May 1945, Rudolf Souval continued manufacturing certain awards using wartime parts and dies for American G.I’s stationed in Europe.
