(Kriegsmarine Insignien). A mixed lot of Kriegsmarine trade specialist insignia, including:
1. A Deck Rating insignia, constructed of gilded bronze, affixed to a replacement black wool backer measuring 70 mm (w) x 92 mm (h), unmarked, demonstrating significant oxidation to the insignia, in fair condition.
2. A Signals NCO insignia, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured embroidery, affixed to a dark navy blue wool backer measuring 68 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), unmarked, in uniform-removed and extremely fine condition.
3. An Administration insignia, constructed of gilded bronze, affixed to a dark navy blue wool backer measuring 70 mm (w) x 95 mm (h), unmarked, demonstrating loss of gilt finish, in very fine condition.
4. A Torpedo Mechanic insignia, constructed of gilded bronze, affixed to a dark navy blue wool backer measuring 66 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), unmarked, demonstrating loss of finish and material fatigue to the insignia and backer, respectively, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.
5. A Teletypist insignia, constructed of gilded bronze, affixed to a replacement black wool backer measuring 70 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), unmarked, demonstrating extensive loss of finish to the insignia, in very fine condition.
6. A Navigating Helmsman NCO insignia, constructed of gilded bronze, affixed to a dark navy blue wool backer measuring 65 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), unmarked, demonstrating moderate material fatigue to the backer, in uniform-removed and better than very fine condition.
7. A solo Torpedo Mechanic insignia, constructed of gilded bronze, the reverse retaining three of four attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 58 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), demonstrating loss of finish throughout in addition to the missing backer, in fair condition.
8. A solo Ordnance Mechanic insignia, constructed of gilded bronze, the reverse retaining two (of four) partially intact attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 49 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), in poor condition.
