Description

(DJ-Fähnlein Fahne). An extremely well-preserved Deutsches Jungvolk (DJ) Fähnlein (Company) flag, of multi-piece construction, consisting of a sturdy black cotton/rayon blended cloth base, bearing double-sided central white Sig runes, the upper hoist edge featuring double-sided white cotton/rayon triangular patch, overlaid by a hand-embroidered black company number of “2/924” and bordered by a knotted black tresse, the hoist edge embroidered with severn non-magnetic metal rings for suspension, each ring stamped on the interior with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M3/40/41” indicating manufacture by Gebrüder Cossack, Neheim, in 1941, measuring 156 cm (w) x 115 cm (h), a superb wartime example demonstrating no notable damage or wear, in extremely fine condition.
