In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Tellermütze für Mannschaften der Jäger). A well-preserved M1907 Krätzchen, constructed of a light field-grey wool cloth with a subtle whipcord weave. It features reinforced side walls which are fully lined on the exterior with green wool, while an additional length of green piping surrounds the edge of the crown. Pinned onto the peak is an aluminum imperial tri-colour cockade measuring 23 mm in diameter. Directly below, the front of the wall is pinned with an additional cockade executed in a black, red, and gold paint scheme used by both Waldeck and Reuss, similarly measuring 23 mm in diameter. The interior is encompassed by a grey cotton cloth liner, with the partially-legible remnants of a stamp that appears to include a date of “1916”. The cap measures approximately 25 cm in diameter. Minor material fatigue is visible to the base cloth, and includes what appears to be mothing to the wool surrounding the side walls. This wartime Krätzchen remains in a better than very fine condition.
