In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Flugzeugführerabzeichen mit Etui). Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of an oval oak laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, surrounding a depiction of a Taube-style monoplane flying over a rural landscape, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and narrow tapering pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked “C.E. JUNCKER, BERLIN”, above a crescent indicating German manufacturer and a silver content mark of “800”, measuring 45.33 mm (w) x 71.59 mm (h), accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a pressed card stock frame with a faux black leather exterior liner, the interior with a white imitation silk lid liner and partially-intact hinge cover, the former bearing a gilt maker’s mark of “C.E. JUNCKER, ALTE JACOBSTR. 13, BERLIN S.W.”, circumscribing the firm’s logo, with a fitted maroon velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, measuring 60 mm (w) x 85 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), a colour inconsistency to the solder at the base of the catch may indicate a period repair but is not at odds with other examples of this Juncker variant, a stunning and matching set, in extremely fine condition.
