1. six rosettes are circular, in red and green embroidery, measuring 18 mm in diameter each, maker marked "A. KRETLY / 46 PALAIS ROYAL B.S.G.D.G" on their black metal button hole attachments.
2. two rosettes are circular, in red embroidery, measuring 15 mm in diameter each, maker marked "PAUL STOPIN / 251 PALAIS ROYAL / DUPETITOSQ / FRÈRES SUCCESSEURS" and "E F / PARIS" on their respective black metal button hole attachments.
3. one rosette with a knotted ribbon, in red embroidery, measuring 24 mm (w) x 7 mm (h), maker marked "A. KRETLY / 46 PALAIS ROYAL" on its black metal button hole attachment.
4. one knot in gold-coloured bullion wire and wrapped around a central hole, measuring 8.5 mm in diameter. All ten items are housed in a cardboard box, the lid inscribed "PALAIS NATIONAL / Galerie des Valois, No. 180. / Ancienne Maison FONTAINE. / FAYOLLE / Fournisseur de l'Assemblée Nationale / Plaques, Croix d'Ordres, Décorations, Médailles et Rubans. / EQUIPEMENT MILITAIRE. / Echarpes, Brassartn, Drapeaux, Bannieren, / Bijoux et Cordons de Franc-Maçonnerie, etc. / PARIS." Chasseloup-Laubat was the descendant of a minor noble family from Saintonge whose members were Huguenot but converted to Catholicism in the seventeenth century.
