A French Legion of Honour, Knight, Type VI (La Presidence, 1851-1852), in silver, a white enamelled five point Maltese cross with ball finials, with green enamelled wreaths in each quadrant, the obverse medallion in Gold, features a right facing profile of Napoleon encircled by a blue ring inscribed BONAPARTE PREMIER CONSUL 19 MAI 1802, the reverse medallion featuring an eagle with outstretched arms, encircled by a blue ring inscribed HONNEUR ET PATRIE, surmounted by a crown with green and blue details, measures 45.5 mm (w) x 65.3 mm (h), marked with a boar’s head denoting French manufacture post 1838, notable enamel chipping throughout, replacement ribbon, remains in very fine condition.
A Belgian Order of Leopold, Knight, Civil Division, in silver and enamels, featuring a four armed white enamelled arms with ball finials, green enamelled wreath segments in each quadrant, the obverse medallion with a rampant lion on a black enamelled field, encircled by the red enamelled ring inscribed L’UNION FAIT LA FORCE, the reverse medallion presenting the cypher LR, surmounted by a hollow crown, measures 40.7 mm (w) x 62.4 mm (h), marked with boars head denoting silver composition and post 1838 French manufacture, areas of enamel chipping, dark patina, very fine.
