Instituted in 1852 (in silver gilt with blue enamels, dual cornucopia hallmarked and marked with a "1" between the cornucopias on the obverse, measuring 27.5 mm (w) x 46.5 mm (h) inclusive of its trophy-of-arms suspension, intact enamels, original ribbon).
2. War Cross 1914-1918 (Croix de Guerre). Instituted in 1915 (three-piece construction, in bronze, measuring 37.8 mm (w) x 46.7 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, bronze star affixed to its original ribbon, residue evident in the recessed areas from cleaning).
3. 5th Army Division, 6th Infantry Division, 1st Rifle Battalion Citation (inscribed in French: "5e Division d'armée / 6e Division d'Infanterie / 1er REGIMENT de CARABINIERS / CITATION A L'ORDRE DU JOUR DU REGIMENT / Le Colonel, A.E.M. BREMER, commandant le Régiment, CITE A l'ORDRE DU JOUR le sergent-adjoint THIENPONT Antoine, Joseph, Marie, 11e Cie. / "Sous-officier très courageux. A commandé plusieurs re-connaissances dangereuses. S'est particulièrement distingué au cours d'un raid effectué sur un poste ennemi dans la nuit du 8/9 avril 1918 au cours duquel il a fait preuve d'un calme et d'un sang-froid remarquables".
