(Řád Bílého lva). Instituted December 7, 1922. Civil Division. In silver, a large repeating point red enamel cross with ball finials, silver gilt leaflets in each quadrant, the obverse medallion presents a superimposed silver rampant lion, reverse centre with motto PRAVDA VÍTĚZÍ (Truth Prevails), coat of arms of the former parts of Czechoslovakia on each arm (Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia, Slovakia and Carpathian Ruthenia), with hollow leaflet suspension with crossed palms, elongated triangular suspension for ribbon attachment with red enamel on the obverse, measures 60 mm (w) x 83.8 mm (h – inclusive of integral ball on leaflet suspension), weighs 70 grams (excluding ribbon), marked KK on the integral suspension denoting Karnet & Kysely, and 900 denoting silver fineness, worn on an original neck ribbon via an enamelled elongated loop, enamels intact on the cross but chipped on the loop, in extremely fine condition.
