(ОРДЕНЪ ЗА ГРАЖДАНСКА ЗАСЛУГА). Instituted in 1891. Type II with Imperial Crown (1909-1944) In silvered bronze with red, white and green enamels , unmarked, measuring 47.7 mm (w) x 74.5 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, chipping and repair evident in the white enamels on both centrepiece rings, original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, red dimpled exterior, the lid marked with the Imperial crown and inscribed "ОРДЕНЪ ЗА ГРАЖДАНСКА ЗАСЛУГА V. СТП." in gold-coloured ink, inside lid in off-white rayon with a distinctive sheen and padded, base with a recessed medal bed in black felt, measuring 62 mm (w) x 127 mm (h) x 25 mm (d), light soiling evident on the exterior and the inside lid, case better than very fine.
