1. One constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with a length of period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Ernst Schneider, Lüdenscheid, measuring 37.23 mm (w) x 40.58 mm (h), secreted within an upgraded commemorative binder, constructed of a card stock frame, the cover bearing a raised Stahlhelm and dates “1914-1918”, opening to reveal a depressed red felt medal bed, the interior of the cover accommodating its original award document, named to “FRANZ BÜLL”, a resident of Brunsbüttelkoog (now Brunsbüttel), issued in Meldorf on 12 January 1935, the binder measuring 22 cm (w) x 15.5 cm (h), in overall extremely fine condition.
2. One constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon mounted on a plate with a horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse maker marked with the logo of an unidentified manufacturer, measuring 37.58 mm (w) x 42.75 mm (h), secreted within an upgraded commemorative binder, constructed of a card stock frame, the cover bearing a raised Stahlhelm and dates “1914-1918”, opening to reveal a depressed red felt medal bed, the interior of the cover accommodating its original award document, named to “ERNST KÜNNETH”, a resident of Nuremberg, issued in town on 1 December 1934, the binder measuring 22 cm (w) x 15.5 cm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition.
