1914-15 Star (1907 Pte F.C. DENNY, 23/BN. A.I.F.); British War Medal (1907 ER-2-Cpl F.C. DENNY. 23 BN. A.I.F.); and Victory Medal (1907 Cpl F.C. DENNY. 23-BN. A.I.F.). Naming is officially impressed. Un-mounted, edge nicks on the BWM, spotting on the VM, contact marks, replacement ribbons, near very fine. Accompanied by a copy of his Attestation Paper and his Discharge Certificate from the National Archives of Australia.
Footnote: Frederick Charles Denny was born in 1896 in Ashbocking, Suffolk, England. He enlisted for First World War service as a Private (1907) with the Australian Imperial Force, on June 16, 1915, at the age of 18, stating that he had previous military service with the Territorial Force in Suffolk, that he was not married and that his trade was that of Farm Employee. He served with the Australian Provost Corps and was later promoted to Corporal. He was discharged upon demobilization on November 1, 1919 at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, credited with having served for four years and 127 days aboard.
