Germany, NSDAP. A 1936 Edition of the Organization Book of the NSDAP
(Organisationsbuch der NSDAP). A well-preserved 1936 edition of Organisationsbuch der NSDAP (Organization Book of the NSDAP). It is constructed of a card stock binding with a red canvas exterior liner, with the cover bearing the title in silver Fraktur script, topped by a NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika. The spine similarly bears the title in identical lettering. Opening with a black-and-white photo of AH, the interior contents consist of 550 paginated pages featuring detailed description of the structure and functions of both the NSDAP and its peripheral entities, including the Sturmabteilung (SA), Schutzstaffel (SS), HJ, German Labour Front (DAF), Reich Labour Front (RAD), and National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK). The text is supplemented with full-colour illustrations of uniforms, insignia, flag and standards, as well as sidearms. It was published in 1936 by Franz Eher Nachfolger, the central publishing house of the NSDAP in Munich. It measures 155 mm (w) x 215 mm (h). Minor, age-appropriate material fatigue is evident to the exterior cover, and there is minor discolouration visible to the interior pages. The binding remains fully intact and no pages are lost or loose, and the book is in an overall near extremely fine condition.
