A medal bar for distinguished military and civil service featuring three awards, including:
1. An Order of Glory, Type II, II Class, constructed of silver with gilt and enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised depiction of the Spasskaya Tower, situated within a wheat stalk wreath which is joined together at the bottom by a red enameled banner bearing a silvered inscription of “СЛАВА” (“GLORY”), the reverse bearing central raised initials “СССР” (“USSR”) within a circular ring, engraved with a serial number of “21205”, measuring 46.87 mm (w) x 49.00 mm (h), demonstrating minor pitting and loss of gilt, in near extremely fine condition.
2. An Order of Glory, Type II, III Class, constructed of silver with enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised depiction of the Spasskaya Tower, situated within a wheat stalk wreath which is joined together at the bottom by a red enameled banner bearing a silvered inscription of “СЛАВА” (“GLORY”), the reverse bearing central raised initials “СССР” (“USSR”) within a circular ring, engraved with a serial number of “371368”, measuring 45.94 mm (w) x 47.71 mm (h), demonstrating minor pitting, in near extremely fine condition.
3. An Order of the Badge of Honour, Type IV, Variation I, constructed of silver with enamels, constructed of silver with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the top by a red-enameled five-pointed star, overlaid by two raised figures clutching red enameled banners bearing an inscription of “ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!” (“WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!”), situated above a plaque bearing a gilt inscription of “ЗНАК ПОЧЕТА” (“BADGE OF HONOUR”), the reverse maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the Soviet Mint, engraved with an award number of “468561”, measuring 33.22 mm (w) x 50.01 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
All affixed to a 95 mm-long bar consisting of three overlapping aluminum mounts with a horizontal pinback, demonstrating some soiling and fading to the ribbons, in extremely fine condition.
