In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Footnote: Walter H. Magee, Sr. was born on February 5, 1889 in Warrior Run, Pennsylvania, the son of John Magee and Jane Morris. He was 29 years old when he enlisted with the Army of the United States on August 14, 1918 at Detroit, Michigan, stating that he was Married and that his trade was that of Chauffeur. While with the Army, he trained with Company "B", Students Army Training Corps at Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana. When he was discharged from Company "B", Students Army Training Corps on December 14, 1918, it was noted that he was in "good physical condition" and that his character was "Excellent". He had been a soldier in the United States Army for four months and had "always been faithful and honest in performance of his duties". He continued to serve in the Army after the war, into the 1930s, as evidenced by the accompanying photographs. His son, Walter H. Magee, Jr., United States Navy was born in 1921 and had been in the service for two years and had done dangerous underwater work during his time with the Navy, when he was killed on the night of October 12, 1945, at the age of 24, while "courageously fighting a warehouse fire in Jinsen, Korea" (the name "Jinsen" given to "Incheon" by the Japanese during the occupation, before returning to its original name).
