In bronze gilt, impressed "1426835 NK G SINGH BENGAL ENGRS GP" on the reverse, measuring 40 mm (w) x 37.5 mm (h), scattered gilt wear, light contact, original ribbon, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Poorvi Star was instituted shortly after the war with Pakistan that took place from December 3 to 16, 1971 and was awarded for active service on the front with eastern Pakistan, Poorvi being the Hindi word for "Eastern".
