What's a max bid?

A Second War Kreigsmarine Vice Admiral's Flag; White cotton mesh with a black screen-printed iron cross in the centre and ball in the upper hoist, rectangular reinforcing patches sewn in place at the top and bottom on the reverse beside the hoist sleeve, white canvas hoist sleeve with a thick braided twine rope stitched in place, the rope looped at the top and loosely hanging at the bottom, reverse of the hoist sleeve at the top stamped in black ink "Vice-Adm. 1,0 x 1,0" and stamped in red ink with a spread-winged eagle standing upon a circled swastika over an "M" immediately to the left of the identification stamping, measuring 920 mm x 1,000 mm, exhibiting scattered holes and soiling from battle action. Very fine. Footnote: This style of flag was probably in use as early as 1867 and was certainly in use by the mid 1880s. It has continued in use until today, except for the few years in which there was no German Navy, and for the German Democratic Republic (East Germany: 1945-1990).
