A Hindenburg Honour Badge. (Hindenburg Ehrenabzeichen). 1917 Issue. A circular medal constructed of feinkzink, the obverse bearing the inscription “FÜR SCHUL KRIEGSHILFE IM WELTKRIEGE VERGESST DEN GEIST VON 1914 NIE! 18 FEBRUAR 1917” (FOR SCHOOL WARFARE IN THE WORLD WAR NEVER FORGET THE SPIRIT OF 1914 18 FEBRUARY 1917) with a helmet in the middle, the obverse bears a right facing portrait of Paul von Hindenburg with “HINDENBURG -” inscribed to the right, marked “L. M.” on the obverse, maker marked “Karl Pöllath, Schrobenhausen” on edge, measuring 49.95 mm, weighing 32.6 g, fine; (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Abzeichen). A Red Cross Badge Wurttemberg Land Forces Nursing, c. 1916. A circular badge constructed of bronze with black, red and white enamels, the obverse bearing a red and gilt cross with a gilt shield with two leaves on either side, the border inscribed with “WURTTEMBERG LANDESVEREIN” (WURTTEMBERG LAND FORCES), the obverse bears a horizontal pinback, measuring 30.23 mm, very fine; (Ehrenkreuz für Kriegsteilnehmer). A German Honour Cross without Swords for Non Combatants, c. 1918, a cross paty constructed of bronze gilt on iron, the obverse centre bears a bay leaf wreath with “1914 1918” inscribed in the centre, the obverse is maker marked with “2 R.V. PFORZHEIM” (Reichsverband Pforzheim) on the 6 o’clock arm, on a red, black and white striped ribbon, measuring38.20 mm (w) x 42.32 mm (h), very fine.
