Germany, Kriegsmarine. A 1943 Album of a Kriegsmarine Inspection of Daimer-Benz Headquarters

(Kriegsmarine Erinnerungsalbum). A well-presented commemorative album of a 10 September 1943 inspection of the Stuttgart headquarters of Daimler-Benz by Kriegsmarine officers. Constructed of a light brown card stock binding, the interior consists of ten off-white card stock pages, including a title page, pasted with 33 glossed black-and-white photographs. Among the attendees are a number of Kriegsmarine Knight’s Cross holders, including Siegfried Wuppermann, with decorations clearly visible. The proceedings are followed by speeches and a reception of both Kriegsmarine personnel and Daimler-Benz executives. The album measures 300 mm (w) x 215 mm (h). Minor, age-appropriate material fatigue is evident to the binding, but the album is in an overall near extremely fine condition.
