United States. An 1855 Small Head Indian Princess Gold Dollar, 1855

(Currency, Coins). Antique. A circular coin constructed of 21kt yellow gold. The obverse bears the image of Liberty with an indigenous headdress, encompassed by the inscription “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”. The reverse features the inscription “1 DOLLAR 1855” encompassed by a wreath tied with a ribbon in a bow at the bottom. The edge of the coin is reeded. Measuring 15.08mm in diameter. This coin has been graded F12 by ICCS (International Coin Certification Service).
