The center features a large orange coloured, old European cut gemstone in a 12 prong setting. The small bag consists of interlocking chain links for the body of the bag with five small pearled links evenly spaced along the bottom of the bag. The frame and opening of the purse is delicately ridged to give it a braided look, with two pearled snaps for closure. Measuring 89.50 mm (l) x 53.90 mm (w) and weighing 23.9 grams. The coin purse is unmarked, and likely of French construction. Presenting some residue and wear, in very fine condition.
