In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
In silver, bearing the Imperial Orchid Blossom Crest on the top of the obverse of the medal with Vertical Japanese Characters translating to “Public Service ”, encircled by the Machurian grain Kaoliang. The reverse bears Japanese characters translating “To Confer, To Bestow, To Aware”. The medal measures at 35mm in diameter, weighs 24.2 grams, and is on its period hook and eye ribbon. The rim presents two hallmarks, one 1000 silver mark in a diamond shape and the other bears a small Japanese flag. It is in extremely fine condition and is very rare.
Footnote: According to the Order and Medals Society of America Third Edition of Orders and Medals of Japan and Associated States written by James W. Patterson, this medal and four other medals of the same category with varying Japanese characters was probably instituted as part of a Propaganda Program in Manchuko by the Japanese Government to build support for their puppet Emperor Henry Pu Yi.
