(Urkunden). A pair Third Reich period professional appointment documents, including one named to Dr. (phil.) Arthur Lüttringhaus, nominating him the position of lecturer, issued in Berlin on 18 October 1939, measuring 255 mm (w) x 355 mm (h), with creasing and some discolouration evident, in very fine condition, and; one named to Dr. Arthur Lüttringhaus, appointing him as an Associate Professor with the patronage of the Führer, issued at Führer Headquarters on 28 August 1941 and featuring a facsimile signature of the former alongside a handwritten signature of Generalfeldmarschall Hermann Göring, measuring 255 mm (w) x 355 mm (h), concealed within its period original card stock folio, each demonstrating minor and age-appropriate fatigue and discolouration, in overall very fine condition.
Footnote: A decorated veteran of the First World War, Dr. Arthur Lüttringhaus was a recipient of the 1914 Iron Cross II Class, the Order of the Zähringer Lion II Class, The Bavarian Royal Order of Merit of St. Michael Merit Cross, and the Bavarian Luitpold Cross for 40 Years in State Service. He was also an active member of Der Stahlhelm - Bund der Frontsoldaten in the Weimar and early Third Reich periods, through to its incorporation into the Sturmbabteilung (SA).
