Germany, Luftwaffe. A Pair of Breeches for Senior NCOs

(Luftwaffe Stiefelhose für Unteroffiziere). An extremely well-preserved pair of Luftwaffe breeches for senior NCO ranks, constructed of blue-grey wool. Eight belt loops are distributed around the waistband, along with four grey bakelite buttons for the inclusion of suspenders. Two straps set into the base material just below the waistband fasten closed with functional magnetic metal buckles to provide an integral belt. Two pockets are set into the upper tights, both with diagonal slashes that close with bakelite buttons meeting reinforced buttonholes. An additional back pocket is set into the upper right leg, similarly closing with a single bakelite button. A French fly closes with five bakelite buttons, with all but the top button hidden. Each ankle has a vertical slash which closes with a functional metal zipper. The interior features a rayon reinforcement set into the seat. Unmarked, they measure approximately 44 cm across the waist, with a total length of 94 cm. Demonstrating no notable damage or wear, these high-quality senior NCO breeches remain in an extremely fine condition.
