In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Wehrmacht Hose eines Generals). An example of a fine quality pair of dress trousers belonging to a General of the Wehrmacht, constructed of “stone-grey” gabardine twill, with one vertical-slit pocket at waist height per side, and a horizontal slit watch-fob pocket towards the left of the right-hand pocket. There is also an additional horizontal slit pocket on the right side of the reverse that is secured shut via a wooden button. Along both sides at the hip is an integrated belt with a magnetic gold-coloured buckle per side for size adjustment, with the addition of broad red lampasses with narrow red piping in-between running down each pant leg, denoting the rank of General. These breeches are secured shut in the front via a vertical slit and a total of five matching buttons that are met by reinforced button-holes on the opposing side. The waist is ordained on the reverse of the exterior with a vertical slit and two buttons for the attachment of suspenders, with an integrated belt with a blued magnetic metal buckle sewn directly below. These breeches are unlined with the exception of the waist and the interior of the pockets, which are lined with light grey-coloured rayon. At the cuff of each pant leg is a 16 cm long vertical slit that is secured shut via three matching buttons. This is a large pair, measuring approximately 54 cm across the waist (seam to seam), with an inseam of 66 cm, and an overall length of 92 cm. A well preserved example of Wehrmacht General’s trousers, with light soiling on the interior waistband along with a few small holes, possibly moth nips, along the front, in overall near extremely fine condition.
