United States. A Lot of Nine Miniature American War and Society Medals

A medal bar of five miniature medals and four independent miniature medals. 

Medal bar, measuring 90.5mm, the reverse is reinforced with a black canvas backer with two vertical pin, the medals have been adhered to the backer, light wear to all medals, remains in very fine condition. The medals are as follows: 

1. American Defense Medal, 1941, bronze gilt, measuring at 16.3 in diameter

2. American Campaign Medal, 1941-1945, bronze gilt, measuring at 16 in diameter

3. World War Two Victory Medal, bronze gilt, measuring at 17.6 in diameter

4. Army of Occupation Medal, 1945, bronze gilt,  measuring at 16 in diameter

5. National Defense Medal, bronze gilt,  measuring at 16.4 in diameter

Independent Medals: 

6. An Order of Washington, bronze gilt, measuring at 12.5mm (w) x 19.8mm (h), on ribbon, light wear, very fine

7. A Military Order of the World Wars, bronze gilt and enamels, small hallmark on reverse, measuring at 20mm (w) x 23.9mm (h)

8. Knights of Columbus Skull and Crossbones Medal, bearing abbreviated motto “FTMM” (Tempus fugit. Memento mori- time flies, remember death), measuring at 23mm (w) x 42.1mm

9. Colonial Society of Americans Royal Descent Badge, bronze gilt and enamels, measuring at 19mm (w) x 26mm (h).

All individual medals bear light wear and remain in very fine condition.
